The Book Thief - Part 2

In part 2, which is chapter 2, Death states that Germans like to burn things. He says this because residents of Molching burned books by non-Aryan authors on Hitler’s birthday. Hans traded cigarettes to get Liesel books. She sent her mom a letter and is still waiting for a reply. Hans Jr. calls his father a coward. Even though Liesel hates Hitler, Hans makes her salute so she won’t be taken away. She steals a burn that had not been burned.

I was surprised that Hans Jr. called his father a coward. This chapter shows how much Hans cares for Liesel.

The Book Thief - Part One

In part 1, which is chapter 1, of The Book Thief you find out that the narrator is Death. It starts off with a girl and a boy on a train with their mom.  The boy starts to cough a lot and then dies. It’s at that moment that the girl, Liesel, sees the narrator, Death. She cannot believe that her brother is died. They bury him at the next town the train stops at. Liesel steals her first book after they finished buring her brother. The book was one of the gravediggers’ handbook. Liesel later arrives at her new home with her foster parents. She then meets the other kids in her neighborhood.

I was surprised to find out the narrator was Death. I have never seen that in a book before. I think it is crazy want the girl has to go through. I believe the author’s intent was to introduce most of the character and the narrator through chronological organization.

03.07 Free Choice Blog – Naruto Chapter 661

In this chapter the tailed beast is taken from Naruto. With Naruto unconscious, it is up to Sasuke to stop Madara from continuing his evil plan. Sasuke has the chance to get more power to stop Madara but he doesn’t take it. Madara is able to stop Sasuke’s attack and stab him with his own sword.

The author leaves me guessing in this chapter. Usual I am able to sort of predict what will happen next, but not this time.

The Art of Racing in the Rain (Ch.1-3)

In the beginning of the book I almost forgot that Enzo was a dog. It was weird to think that this story will be from a dog’s perspective. Even though it was the begin of the story I kind of felt sad that Enzo was dying. The part where he’s planning on telling his owner, Denny, that it’s his time to -- go.  It was interesting to see Enzo’s view on death. He believed he would return to the world as a human because of a documentary he watched. I liked how he had human like characteristics. I was a bit confused in the these chapters because it start at the end of Enzo’s life then went to the beginning of his life. So far I do not know if I like this book yet, but it has my attention enough to keep on reading it.

If I were to take notes, I’d use the outline format.

Hola,

i agree with the first part of the result where it states that I enjoy reading fiction books. But has for the second part of the result I strongly disagree. I barely read and keep up with sports.

The last thing I read that I enjoyed was an email from Fullscreen Arcade, a YouTube network, saying that my channel was accepted for a partnership. I've worked hard on my content for a moment like this where I could be accepted for a partnership. I was overjoyed when I got the email. I can't wait to see where my channel will go from here.
